Can you believe that we are already one month into 2019? January was a fantastic month for Refersion! We kicked off the new year by sponsoring a networking event with our friends at Klaviyo. Last week, our Miami office joined Klaviyo as we served up delicious cocktails while partaking in some valuable networking.
In August 2018, we mentioned our new Klaviyo integration that helps you write beautiful affiliate emails quicker. Ever since our partnership announcement, we’ve been itching to hold an event together.
On January 30th, we got to hold our first event with Klaviyo. Not only was it our first partner event, but it was our first event hosted in Miami, Florida. Klaviyo:MIA was a happy hour success.
During the middle of Klaviyo’s Miami workshop, we hosted a free happy hour event filled with wine, apps, prizes, and tons of conversation. We brought together many of Miami’s finest ecommerce retailers and shared tips on how to grow in 2019. South Florida is home to so many bustling businesses, and we wanted to be at the center of it all this January.
One of the best parts of the event was being able to catch up with some amazing attendees including Maku, Green Roads World, and Ace Marks Handcrafted Shoes. Being able to network with brilliant ecommerce companies always invigorates our team and reminds us why we started Refersion in the first place.
Not only were we able to chat with some excellent ecommerce companies, but they were also able to mingle with each other. There is always something to learn from another company so giving businesses the space to connect last week was terrific. We are always excited to see better connections being formed amongst ecommerce retailers. Those connections mean stronger retail communities and opportunities to create more fulfilling partnerships.
Throughout the happy hour event, there were also tons of prizes to be won for event attendees such as a ticket to Klaviyo’s annual conference Klaviyo:BOS, a carry-on suitcase from Away (perfect for attending work conferences and even future Refersion/Klaviyo events), and a digital notebook and pen from Rocketbook. Giving away these prizes to deserving ecommerce leaders was a definite highlight of the night.
Klaviyo is a premium partner with us, and we are so grateful to have their support this year as we work to make sending affiliate emails quicker.
